Beluga Hybrid

Beluga is BACK! Reminiscent of wild Beluga harvested directly from the Caspian Sea, which was the essence of our business, this Beluga sturgeon (huso huso) cross-bred with white sturgeon (Acipenser transmontanus), yields a large firm light-gray roe with a buttery, nutty flavor. 

As the beluga sturgeon can take up to 20 years to reach maturation and weight upwards of 1100 kg, Caviar Express has diligently monitored Beluga production worldwide, and only now have we begun to see mature Beluga caviar, offering the large, explosive roe synonymous with Beluga.
